The consultation period for this section of Bus Route 38 ended on 18 January 2006.
Proposals for the section of Bus Route 38 shown on the map, New Oxford Street, include:
- removal of the existing westbound contra-flow bus lane in favour of bus, service vehicle and cycle only access
- improved provision and safety for pedestrians and associated environmental improvements
- restricted side road access
